The Safety Superhero Academy® Featured in the Yorkshire Post
We're delighted to share that our Founder and Director, Bethany Holroyd, has been featured in the Yorkshire Post, highlighting the journey of The Safety Superhero Academy® and the growing impact of our mission to help children develop positive attitudes towards safety, health and wellbeing from the earliest years.
The feature follows Bethany's recent selection as a finalist in the Great British Entrepreneur Awards and reflects on how far the Academy has come since first being featured by the Yorkshire Post shortly after launching.
Over the past year, The Safety Superhero Academy® has worked with more than 1,000 children on a national scale, expanded its educational resources, and secured the support of organisations that share our vision of creating safer futures through education.
Speaking to the Yorkshire Post, Bethany said:
"The whole ethos is about making the world a safer place."
The article also explores the inspiration behind the Academy, Bethany's background in corporate health and safety, and why developing awareness, communication and positive safety behaviours from childhood has the potential to create lasting change for future generations.
We're incredibly grateful to the Yorkshire Post for shining a light on our mission and helping us reach more educators, organisations and supporters who believe in creating safer futures for children.
