The Safety Superhero Academy® founder to appear on BBC Radio Leeds
The Safety Superhero Academy® is delighted to announce that Founder and Director Bethany Holroyd will be appearing live on BBC Radio Leeds this Thursday, during the daytime programme presented by Gayle Lofthouse.
Bethany was invited onto the programme after BBC Radio Leeds identified her as someone making a positive impact across Yorkshire through education and community engagement. Bethany will be speaking about the story behind The Safety Superhero Academy®, how the idea first came to life, the inspiration behind its mission to help children develop lifelong positive attitudes towards safety, health and wellbeing, and the exciting journey the social enterprise has been on since launching.
Listeners can also expect to hear about the Academy's growing impact, its vision for the future, and Bethany's recent recognition as a finalist for the Great British Entrepreneur Awards Start-Up Entrepreneur of the Year.
Bethany Holroyd, Founder and Director of The Safety Superhero Academy®, said:
"It's really exciting to be invited onto BBC Radio Leeds to share the story of The Safety Superhero Academy®. Every opportunity to talk about our mission helps raise awareness of the importance of embedding safety, health and wellbeing from the earliest years, and I'm incredibly grateful to BBC Radio Leeds for inviting me to share our journey."
The Academy would like to thank BBC Radio Leeds for the opportunity - the interview is expected to air at approximately 12:15pm on Thursday during the BBC Radio Leeds daytime programme.
If you're able to tune in, we'd love for you to listen and hear more about the story behind The Safety Superhero Academy® and our mission to Shape Safer Futures®.
