About Us
The Safety Superhero Academy® was created to shape safer futures. Through storytelling, practical activities and structured learning resources, we embed safety thinking from the very start of a child’s learning journey - supporting educators and organisations to build a safer tomorrow.
As industries face growing skills shortages, we believe there is both an opportunity and a responsibility to introduce children to the language of safety and risk awareness in an engaging and inclusive way. By building confidence and curiosity early, we help develop lifelong habits that strengthen communities and industries alike.
Founded by Bethany Holroyd - a Chartered safety professional, children’s author and advocate for diversity in traditionally male-dominated industries - the Academy bridges education and industry through real-world insight and creative practice.

Our mission is to empower children to become confident safety champions in their everyday lives - nurturing awareness of safety, health and wellbeing from an early age. As a social enterprise, we are committed to creating lasting social value by strengthening safety awareness in childhood, supporting long-term accident prevention, and helping to address the skills gap across safety and STEM professions. Through engaging education and meaningful industry connection, we spark curiosity about the world of safety and future careers - building positive habits that contribute to safer communities, stronger industries and a more prepared workforce.
