The Safety Superhero Academy Welcomes New Delivery & Operations Co-ordinator

The Safety Superhero Academy is delighted to welcome Jill Vance to the team as our new Delivery & Operations Co-ordinator, joining us on 24th August.

Jill brings with her a wealth of experience working across education, SEND and customer-facing roles. She has supported children and adults with complex needs in both school and college settings, holds a BA (Hons) in English with Education, and is Makaton Foundation trained.

Throughout her career, Jill has worked one-to-one with individuals with additional needs, supported teaching and learning across a range of age groups, and most recently worked within the physiotherapy and therapies team at The Vine, supporting adults with complex needs. Her experience, compassion and understanding of inclusive education make her a fantastic addition to The Safety Superhero Academy.

In her new role, Jill will support the planning and coordination of workshops, work closely with schools and sponsors, and be out on the road helping to deliver workshops to children across the country.

Throughout my career I've always enjoyed roles where I can make a positive difference, whether that's supporting children in schools, working alongside adults with complex needs, or helping people build confidence and independence.

The Academy's mission really resonated with me because it combines education with something that has the potential to benefit children throughout their lives. I'm looking forward to meeting schools, working with our sponsors and helping to deliver workshops that inspire children to think differently about safety, health and wellbeing."

You'll be seeing plenty of Jill from September onwards as she supports the delivery of our workshops and works closely with schools, educators and corporate sponsors.
